Nairn take the A939 towards Grantown for 2 miles and then turn right onto the B9101 to Cawdor. Follow this road for about a mile and it is signposted as Geddes Trout Fishery on the left hand side of the split crossroads. If coming from the opposite direction, Inverness way the turning is just before the sign on the right. Drive up the hill passed the old graveyard and the Fishery is located at the top of the road.

Nestling between the Highland Estates of Geddes and Cawdor, the fishery is located at the Old Geddes Dams. These were built 1860's as the main water supply for the town of Nairn. It lies in quiet secluded woodland surroundings and comprises of two separate lochs, one for bait and one for fly fishing . The insect life at the fishery is abundant and creates a challenge for the "Match the Hatch" type of fly fisher.

The fishery is stocked frequently to ensure a good continuity of fish. The bait loch is catch/kill and the Fly Loch is a choice of catch and release or keep. You can fish for blues, tigers, browns, and the hard fighting Rainbow. Fishing is from the bank on the bait loch and from platforms on the fly.

We have rod hire for Fly and Bait  fishing. There is also a porta-toilet and parking facilities. We are open all year-round weather permitting.
